Piper Jason Aldiss

Jason was taught by John Wotherspoon in New Zealand from 1982. He started his band career playing with Boys Town Pipe Band in Auckland. He then moved to Macleay Duff Distillery Pipe Band. Jason later went to university in Palmerston North, where he played for the Manawatu Scottish Pipeband; eventually becoming Lead Piper taking their No 2 band up through Grade 4 into Grade 3 in the early nineties.
Jason moved with work to New Plymouth and played with the New Plymouth Pipe Band, playing in Grade 2.
In 1995 Jason left New Zealand to come to the UK when he joined Houghton Le Spring Pipeband.
